This is the image for the news article titled NDHS Students Attain Microsoft Office Specialist CertificationsFrom Mrs. Hedrick:

What a great 4 years our Business Information Management Students had! When we were getting into the Microsoft Office Certification program, I will admit, it was overwhelming. I remember our Technology Director telling me that her son had the MOS test offered in college. And, indeed, both IC3 (Internet and Computing Core) and MOS Certifications are accepted by many colleges as a college credit. Over the last 4 years close to 100 New Diana students had received the credentials of either IC3 or MOS. Several of them, having graduated, came back to share their stories of employment opportunities that had opened to them as a result of their certifications!

This year we had a number of students that had successfully passed their MOS test, so please congratulate them when you see them - they worked hard and overcame defeat and lack of motivation, and became specialists in their area of certification:

In conclusion, I would like to express hope that these certifications and business computer education classes remain one of our district's priorities, as they provide vital technology qualifications in our increasingly high-tech world in which our students go to seek employment.
